A large pharmacy chain that has focused on growth, not in numbers, but stature and quality required the support of RGIS. The estate comprises of over 70 unique pharmacies across the UK, which will continue to grow through a strategic and careful acquisition plan.
REQUIREMENT
The pharmacy chain needed a solution to consolidate the inventory data rather than using multiple pharmacy inventory companies, so required RGIS to provide the following:

- National coverage
- A tailored, customized report for all branches
- Financial valuations
- Line and category reports
SOLUTION
The pharmacy chain partnered with RGIS to complete the pharmacy inventory project, and provided the following:
- All branch managers were contacted to discuss preparation required prior to the counts
- Specific reporting outcomes were agreed
- All branches were scheduled within a set time frame
- Accuracy checks were completed at all branches
RESULTS
The pharmacy chain found by outsourcing the pharmacy inventory project to RGIS, the following results were achieved:
- There was fluid reporting across all branches
- Billing was simplified as it was coming from one source
