Solution:
RGIS
trained and certified staff on the client's material handling equipment. Teams utilized the customer's scanners for continuity of data.
During the move, RGIS conducted
cycle counts consistently by
staffing two shifts per day. The teams performed cycle counts for a total of
6 months to ensure inventory accuracy.
Auditors
recorded and updated count information as well as product location data.
Results:
The client was able to move between warehouses
with no loss of inventory accuracy. As one of the largest providers of 3PL services in the US, careful inventory management is a
necessity.
