FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUBURN HILLS, Ml. (January 18, 2011) -- RGIS, the global market leader in inventory, data collection and space optimization services, recently collaborated with Marks & Spencer to accurately capture space and equipment data in their stores. The retail store chain wanted to better understand their utilization of existing space. Marks & Spencer needed to convert the data into a format suitable for use with their current system, and requested that RGIS conduct an immediate assessment.

The RGIS data collection initiative captured information about fixtures, merchandise and architectural elements so that Marks & Spencer could utilize their store space to maximize profits. RGIS provided Marks & Spencer with accurate floor plans and space data to allow for informed decision-making and optimum store space allocation. By utilizing RGIS Smartspace™ Data Collector, RGIS delivered several formats of floor layout plans and custom reports.

RGIS captured the necessary data across 500+ Marks & Spencer locations, during normal business hours, in approximately 16 Weeks.

The RGIS regional survey teams ensured that in-store data quality checks were implemented properly. Proprietary processes were used to ensure accuracy and achieve key performance indicators.
